Strip-out, rough-in and waterproofing
Back to frame, licensed plumbing and electrical rough-in, then waterproofing to AS 3740 photographed at every coat. Same crew, same start time, swept down before we leave each day.
Tiling, fit-off and handover
Tiling, glass measured off the finished walls, tapware and joinery installed. Then we walk the room with you, fix anything you pick up, and hand over the certificates and a workmanship warranty.

Usually $18,000 to $28,000 for a full strip-out and rebuild with good fittings, keeping the fixtures on their existing waste points. Small doesn't mean cheap. A 4m² room needs the same trades and the same certified waterproofing as a 9m² one. You just buy less tile.
Wall-hung vanity, wall-hung pan with a hidden cistern, and a step-free shower with one fixed glass panel. What makes a small room feel bigger is seeing the floor run wall to wall. Anything sitting on the floor breaks that up.
No. Bigger tiles mean fewer grout lines, and fewer grout lines make the room read as one surface instead of a busy grid. Go 600x600 or 600x1200 porcelain and save the mosaics for one spot, like the shower niche.
Yes, and it's the change we're asked for most. In an ensuite or second bathroom it's an easy call. If it's the only bathroom in a family home, think about resale first. Buyers out here still expect a bath somewhere in the house.
A standard 820mm hinged door eats about 0.8m² just to swing. In a 4m² bathroom that's a fifth of the room you can't use. A cavity slider is usually the cheapest square metre you'll ever buy.
