Full-slab or large-format stone
Book-matched porcelain slabs or engineered stone with minimal joins. Fewer grout lines is the single clearest signal of a high-end room.
Custom joinery
Vanities built to the millimetre for your room, with soft-close drawers routed around the plumbing rather than boxed off around it.
Freestanding bath and floor mixer
Set out properly with the waste centred and the floor-mounted mixer plumbed before the screed goes down — not chased in afterwards.
Layered lighting
Backlit mirror, a warm wash in the shower niche, dimmable ceiling. Three circuits, so the room works at 7am and at 9pm.
Hidden services
In-wall cisterns, concealed shower mixers, cavity sliders, recessed shaving cabinets. Nothing on show that doesn't need to be.

Selections take longer than the build
On a premium job we'll spend three or four weeks on selections before a single tile is ordered. Stone gets viewed as a slab, not a sample chip. Tapware finishes get checked against the mirror frame and the shower screen hardware, because brushed brass from two suppliers is rarely the same brass.
You'll see a scaled layout with elevations for every wall before we start, so the tile setout, niche height and mirror position are decided on paper. That's the stage where a luxury bathroom is actually won or lost.

Realistically, a luxury bathroom in Sydney starts around $45,000 and runs to $80,000-plus for a large main bathroom with full-slab stone, custom joinery and a freestanding bath. Ensuite-and-main packages done together usually come in better per room because the trades are already on site.

We measure the room, check the drainage and what's behind the walls, then give you a scaled layout with every fixture listed and a written price that holds once it's signed.
Strip-out, rough-in and waterproofing
Back to frame, licensed plumbing and electrical rough-in, then waterproofing to AS 3740 photographed at every coat. Same crew, same start time, swept down before we leave each day.
Tiling, fit-off and handover
Tiling, glass measured off the finished walls, tapware and joinery installed. Then we walk the room with you, fix anything you pick up, and hand over the certificates and a workmanship warranty.

Yes, and we prefer it on prestige work. We'll build to their drawings and flag anything that won't work in the real room — falls, setouts, waste positions — before it becomes an on-site argument.
Engineered stone containing crystalline silica was banned from mid-2024, so we use porcelain slabs, natural stone or compliant low-silica alternatives. They look the part and there's no compliance risk down the track.
Often, and it usually makes sense. You share the mobilisation, the waterproofer's visit and the tiler's setup across two rooms. We stage it so you always have one working bathroom in the house.
